Jamie is a highly sought after marketing/event consultant and trend expert. She has
been involved in the marketing and event planning industry for over fifteen years.
Jamie has been hired by some of the country’s top companies such as Walt Disney
World, Universal Orlando and the Orlando Ballet to produce large-scale events, design
and coordinate effective marketing and advertising programs, build and develop
marketing and promotional partnerships, create and implement branding and media
relations strategies and deliver exceptional programs resulting in perfectly planned,
memorable events that deliver increased affinity and revenue for those companies.
Jamie’s passion for the event business is well known and in January 2004, Jamie
branched out on her own and started Jamie M. O’Donnell Public Relations & Events.
Her extensive business and event-planning background as well as her constant
involvement in the ever-changing special event industry allow her to specialize in all
aspects of the event market and call upon her broad network of industry contacts to
accomplish the specific objectives identified by each client. Over the last year she has
specialized in planning and executing events for Real Estate and Development
Communities in Orlando, Tampa, St. Petersburg, Fort Myers and Clearwater, the
Hospitality Industry, the Philanthropic Community in Central Florida, the Fashion
Industry and the Black-tie Gala Opening of the Austrian Consulate in Orlando.
Understanding the industry has allowed Jamie to plan customized events that generate
awareness, drive traffic and achieve objectives for each of her clients.
Jamie is also as a certified wedding planner and a professional bridal consultant who
has been involved in the bridal industry for over fifteen years as a Bridal Stylist,
Headpiece Designer, Professional Bridal Consultant accredited by the industry’s
leading association - ABC, the Association of Bridal Consultants, and a top Business
Consultant. Jamie also held the prestigious position as the Brand Marketing Manager
for Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons for The Walt Disney Company where
she wrote and developed their new Vision and Mission statements as well as an entire
re-branding initiative to take the ten-year old division and $100 million per year
business for Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and the Disney Cruise Line to the next
level of creativity and profitability. These efforts helped re-energize the Disney’s Fairy
Tale Weddings & Honeymoons product, increase the number of weddings booked and
continue to solidify Disney as the #1 Domestic Honeymoon Destination.
Jamie has additionally served as International Rotary Goodwill Ambassador where she
was chosen as one of only 1100 Ambassadors worldwide in 2002. Her Goodwill
Ambassadorship moved her overseas where she gained a tremendous amount of
international insight from colleagues literally throughout the world. Her extensive
international travel and vast source of global contacts afford her the opportunity to
obtain current international information directly from the country of need and
provide her clients invaluable insight to further their business goals, profitability and
reach.
